Charities

Our proudest accomplishments have been working with charities that make a difference for the disabled, ill, and less fortunate here in the Bay Area. Pacful, Inc. will continue to play a small role in the success of these charities and like us, we hope that others will join in the effort to assist and donate much-needed items whether it comes in the form of money, clothing, volunteering, or supplies.

Below you will find a link for the charities we support.

Kainos Home and Training Center

Kainos Home and Training Center allows for the developmentally disabled to live in one of five group homes where they receive training in practical living skills through a progressive, systematic program. A 24-hour staff carefully supervises the residents in each home, with an average staff to resident ratio of 1 to 5. Kainos also offers a program for off-site living where adults who demonstrate an ability to function successfully without supervision in their day-to-day routine are helped by a Kainos staff member who makes regular visits to assess their progress, to fine-tune living skills and to offer help and support. Kainos offers a variety of vocational training programs that help participants increase their skills while finding an area of interest. The Kainos supported employment program provides job readiness, training, placement, and continued support and monitoring from the staff.

The Ryan Phua Memorial Fund

The Ryan Phua Memorial Fund (Ryan's Ride) is established through the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) to fund cancer-related programs in the Bay Area. Our mission is to focus on Bay Area programs, which address issues including, but limited to community survivorship, palliative care and end of life care. We hope a difference can be made in the social recovery of families and their loved ones who have been affected by cancer. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
